How to install Kloudprint on your computer
- First make sure you've installed the proper drivers for your Dymo Labelwriter or other thermal label printer. Download at Dymo.com or here for the Mac and here for Windows. If the link doesn't work, please visit dymo.com directly.
- Once your printer drivers are installed you can install the Kloudprint node here.
- Click yes to agree to install Kloudprint.
- Click that you accept the agreement and click Next.
- Change the location you want to install Kloudprint or click Next if you satisfied with the default location.
- Click Next again to setup Kloudprint in your start menu.
- Check the box install desktop shortcut. DO NOT check the box to install Kloudprint as a Windows Service. Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Click Finish to launch Kloudprint and then login with the credentials provided in your "Kloudprint is Ready" email.
- Go to Settings -- Network Settings and uncheck "verify SSL/TLS".
- Once complete you should be good to go. You'll click the "remote print" button instead of the printer icon where appropriate in Rose going forward.
- With Kloudprint, you can multi-select labels from the inventory screen and you can click Print All in the Take-in screen to print multiple labels at once.
For MacOS:
- With Kloudprint, you can multi-select labels from the inventory screen and you can click Print All in the Take-in screen to print multiple labels at once.
- Save the Kloudprint download to your computer.
- Once download to the bottom left of your browser. Double click to open the download.
- Agree to open the Kloudprint app.
- Complete the installation. Drag the Kloudprint App to the Applications folder.
- Log into the app using the credentials provided in the Kloudprint is Ready email sent to you
- Open the Kloudprint app that is now running in the taskbar at the top right side of the screen.
- Click on the Printers tab in the app and put 2.25 into the Width field and 1.25 into the Height field.
- Click the box to turn the printer active. That check box can be finicky on the Mac, so you may need to click around on that line to get it so you can click the box.
- Go to Settings -- Network Settings and uncheck "verify SSL/TLS" in the Kloudprint app.
- Once complete you should be good to go. You'll click the "remote print" button where appropriate in Rose going forward.
